1. Introduction

When I was lurking around Belgorod with Google-earth, looking for radar stations at the border line to Ukraine, I found a huge array of what looked like a chain of many CDAAs. Strange enough the station building was in the vicinity of crossroads and many buildings.
The place is easy to find East of Belgorod Center - see photos below.
I tried to get an impression of the facility's size and found exciting dimensions.
The line of sight from the first circle to the last one, the 30th, is 4800m. A few fields and houses further to the North another 10 circles stretch over 1200 m. It seems however, that part is abandoned - the shapes are hardly recognizable, but the huts in the center still are there. A straight line is visible going from the station building in direction NE - a beverage antenna?

I asked Ary Boender for his advice and he confirmed my own findings. According to http://www.warfare.ru Mil Unit #34037, the 149th Detached EWF Battalion of the General Staff is located in Belgorod, but - is this their site? Well possible, that this is something completely different and has nothing to do with antennas. Any idea is welcome.

2. The Site

Station building, first three antenna circles and the suspected Beverage.  The first, Southern, part of the array.
